Monthly Garden Lecture Series

Keep Pearland Beautiful and the Brazoria County Master Gardeners are proud to be hosting a series of month lectures on a variety of gardening and yard care topics. These classes will be held in the Multipurpose Room of the Pearland Recreation Center 4141 Bailey Rd.,  Pearland, TX  77584.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m., lecture starts at 7:00 p.m.  Eat dessert and meet our members.  Stay for the lecture and question & answer session.  These lectures will be on the second Thursday of every month .

Spring Clean Up – Don’t Mess With Texas Trash Off

Keep Pearland Beautiful hosts two community clean ups every year.  On this date volunteers across Pearland clean adopt a spots (up to 72 miles of roads, parks and schools in Pearland).  Join us at 7:30AM for breakfast at the KPB Office in the City Hall Annex 3523 Liberty Dr, Pearland, TX 77581, pick up supplies and head out to pick up litter.  This is a great event for all ages and families. Earth Day Celebration

2015-Earth-Day-LogoEarth Day Celebration will take place April 18, 2015 at The Pearland Recreation Center from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Earth Day Celebration is a collaboration between Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) and the City of Pearland (COP).  The event will provide attendees of all ages a fun experience while exposing them to ways to connect with our earth and take care of it in an environmentally responsible way.  Vendors have been invited to set up interactive activities and booths. Additional games, inflatables and activities have been planned by the Earth Day Committee some of these will be staffed by KIPPERs (Middle School Aged Children) from Pearland Schools.  Educational lectures and hands on activities will take place at the Celebration as well. The event it free to all attendees, it will be come and go kind of event.  There will be no food vendors onsite.  There will be hospitality for the volunteers.
