Annual Meeting & Dinner

Join Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) as we celebrate another year of providing quality environmental education programs in Pearland. The Annual Membership Meeting and Dinner is November 19, 2015, 6:00 p.m. at Golfcrest Country Club in Pearland. Tickets for the Dinner are $40. Pearland Arbor Day Celebration

Arbor Day will be celebrated on November 14, 2015 from 8:00AM to noon Zychlinski Park. At this event KPB will be giving away 2 tree seedlings to Pearland residents (until supplies run out).  Keep Pearland Beautiful will have native pecan, eastern redbud, Mexican white oak, and two different varieties of vitex (Arbor Day Tree Guide 2015). Each Pearland household will receive 2 tree seedlings (can be two of the same or two different seedlings).

Earth Day Celebration

2015-Earth-Day-LogoEarth Day Celebration is tentatively scheduled for April 23, 2016 at The Pearland Recreation Center from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Earth Day Celebration is a collaboration between Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) and the City of Pearland (COP).  The event will provide attendees of all ages a fun experience while exposing them to ways to connect with our earth and take care of it in an environmentally responsible way.  Vendors have been invited to set up interactive activities and booths. Additional games, inflatables and activities have been planned by the Earth Day Committee some of these will be staffed by KIPPERs (Middle School Aged Children) from Pearland Schools.  Educational lectures and hands on activities will take place at the Celebration as well. The event it free to all attendees, it will be come and go kind of event.  There will be no food vendors onsite.  There will be hospitality for the volunteers.
