Calling all volunteers to join KPB and our Adopt-A-Spot volunteers on April 7, 2018 to clean up Pearland. Any volunteers not associated with an Adopt-A-Spot will be assigned to an area or added to another group. You can sign up more than one person when you use the registration form (http://bit.ly/cleanpearland).
The 2018 2nd Quarter Community Clean Up – themed “Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off!” will kick off with breakfast and supply pick up from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m at the Lone Star Pavilion of Centennial Park (3219 McLean Rd., Pearland, TX 77584). The Lone Star Pavilion is the pavilion adjacent to the splash pad. The entrance to the parking lot is near the intersection of Ryan Acres St. and McLean.
Please R.S.V.P. via our online form (http://bit.ly/cleanpearland) if you want to volunteer, are bringing a group to breakfast or use the form to reserve and pick up supplies on another date.
We will supply all bags and gloves needed for the cleanup. You can pick these up at Centennial Park the day of the cleanup or arrange to come by the KPB office in the Stella Roberts Recycling Center ahead of the cleanup (RSVP here http://bit.ly/cleanpearland). We are encouraging everyone to share their Trash-Off photos using #cleanpearland on your Instagram, our facebook.com/keeppearlandbeautiful, twitter.com/kpbpearland and email them to Fay Watson ([email protected]mykpb.org).
On April 7, 2018, when you have finished your cleanup, please leave your bags next to your Adopt-A-Spot sign. Please arrange for disposal of your trash if you clean your spot on a day other than 2/3/2018.
As with past cleanup events please use our online Adopt-A-Spot Cleanup Wrap-Up Report to report how your clean up went. All Adopt-A-Spot groups are required to clean their location at least four times a year, two of which are in conjunction with our semi-annual cleanups, submit their Wrap-Up Report and photos. Please complete the online Wrap-Up Report by the end of the second quarter (June 30, 2018).
